Business English B LevelOpen enrollment
Strengthen your professional English in a small online group at B level. Eight weekly lessons of 1.5 hours on Monday evenings — live practice in emails, meetings, presentations and everyday workplace communication. Includes a subject-specific language module of your choice.
Overview
This open-enrollment business English course is designed for professionals who need confident English at work. Each Monday evening you join a live 90-minute session with an expert trainer and a small group. You practise the situations you face every day: introducing yourself, writing emails, joining calls and meetings, presenting ideas and networking. Your enrolment includes an ESP module — English for Specific Purposes — where you choose the field that matches your job (finance, HR, engineering, medical, legal and more) and study specialist vocabulary alongside the group lessons.
Topics we cover
- Professional introductions — who you are, your role and your company
- Email writing — structure, tone, requests, replies and follow-ups
- Phone & video calls — clarity, confirmations and polite phrases
- Meetings — participating, agreeing, clarifying and action points
- Presenting ideas & updates — structure, signposting and handling questions
- Negotiating & persuading — polite disagreement and proposals
- Networking & social English — small talk, events and follow-ups
- Review & workplace scenarios — your real cases and next steps

Lesson 5 — Presenting ideas & updates
Structure short presentations and status updates. Use signposting language, visual aids and techniques for handling questions from your audience.
